My path here hasn’t been a straight line. It grew slowly, much like a garden does.
I spent years travelling, surrounded by food and the natural world. I saw how these elements influenced people’s moods, energy, and overall well-being. But it wasn’t until my own body began reacting to long-term stress that I realised how deep the connection really was.
The turning point came when my digestion, hormones, and emotional balance were all affected at once. I couldn’t “push through” anymore. I had to understand what my body was trying to tell me.
That curiosity led me to study trauma-informed coaching, nervous system regulation, stress physiology, and the ways we learn to cope when life becomes too heavy. I became especially interested in the habits we fall into, emotional eating, overworking, numbing out, drinking, or staying constantly busy. These behaviours aren’t random; they’re ways of self-soothing when our systems feel overwhelmed.
What I learned changed everything:
When the nervous system feels supported and the gut is nourished, change becomes possible.
Not through force, but through calm, consistency, and compassion.
I help people recognise what their bodies are asking for and build healthier habits that don’t rely on old coping strategies.
